What are your contacts to German parents and how important do you mean?
The immigrant parents had only contact to German parents by the project. They would like to have more contact, for example, to exchange experiences. They have many questions about topics such as shopping, administrative procedures, office visits or city.
There are volunteer associations that mediate sponsorships between German and immigrant families. But not every immigrant family has a German foster family.
