School in Germany
Education in Germany is provided by law of the state. There are also private schools. Each of the 16 German states regulates the curricula and school types differently. In many states the school system is regulated in a special education law.
In Germany there education is compulsory. That means all young people must attend a public and officially recognized school until they are 18 years old.
